Why Use a Seniors Real Estate Specialist®?
February 10, 2021
As an SRES® designated Real Estate Broker, I have gained the education and expertise to guide homebuyers and sellers over the age of 50 through major financial and lifestyle transitions. Why is this important to you? Because Seniors Real Estate Specialist designees have unparalleled training and experience in Seniors real estate, including:
- Helping Senior clients manage the financial and emotional challenges of selling a long-held family home
- Creating a customized plan to market and sell a property
- Understanding the unique needs and creating a customized plan to ensure the home meets those needs now and, in the future (if aging in place)
- Connecting Senior clients with a vast network of movers, attorneys, home inspectors, and other experts to help you through the process
I feel that my most important role is to fully understand the situation, reassure clients by helping them determine what needs to be done to the home and what can be ignored, and to help them see the bright side. With patience and grace, I become the cheerleader and guide to help alleviate the stress of transitioning homes.
Instead of tackling extensive renovation projects, I help Seniors decide if it makes more sense to adjust their asking price instead, and save the headache of renovations. I offer resources that assist with unavoidable and daunting chores like downsizing and moving itself. Fear of getting from one place to the other may obscure the positive aspects of a move. I help reassure Seniors of the advantages of their transition.
As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I can help prevent Seniors from looking backward with sadness and ahead with fear.
