Harvest Underway in Central Illinois

Harvest is well underway here in Central Illinois. Early results have been positive! While maybe not a record breaker, early indications are that yields seem to be better than expected. Eyes will be watching the later planted crops as harvest rolls on. With the lack of rainfall since August, those could be adversely impacted. The strong early yields are a welcomed result with the grain markets continued to be under duress.
