Land Auctions Still Possible in COVID-19 Era

Even in a world of social distancing and capacity restrictions, we are prepared to continue to serve landowners who desire to sell via auction. There are a variety of options we could explore with you and determine together which best meets your needs.

Options include:

• In-person limited capacity live auction for which bidders pre-register in advance, keep 6’ distance, and wear masks. Indoor or outdoor auction venues are available.
• Online live-stream auction at a set date and time.
• Timed online auction where bids are collected over the course of a predetermined amount of time (similar to placing a bid on eBay).
• Sealed bid auction where bidders would submit, in writing, their bids by a set date and time.
• Do you have another idea in your mind of how you’d like your auction to work? We’d be glad to explore it together!

In short, with a little creativity, land auctions are still a viable option! Private listings are always a great choice, as well.
