Illinois Farm & Land Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute Receives 2015 Outstanding Chapter Award

The Illinois Farm & Land Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) proudly accepted the Outstanding Chapter Award from the RLI at an awards ceremony in Dallas, Texas on March 11, 2016 during the National Land Conference.

The Outstanding Chapter Award recognizes one REALTORS® Land Institute chapter that has demonstrated excellence and creativity in the following categories: member retention and development, course and other educational offerings, volunteerism to national REALTORS® Land Institute, technological achievements, and outreach and collaboration with other REALTORS® Land Institute chapters and local and state organizations.

Said the 2017 Illinois Chapter president elect Luke Worrell, “It was an honor to receive the award on behalf of the Illinois Chapter. We are a tight-knit group that is committed to working together to grow in our mutual knowledge of the land market so we can create solutions, add value and build wealth for our clients.” He added, “As the ag-industry continues to change at a rapid pace, Accredited Land Consultants like myself must be diligent in staying abreast of the latest developments in order to ensure that agriculture continues to be as relevant as possible. The Illinois Chapter members lean heavily on one another to ensure we are providing significant value to landowners and farmers.”

The Illinois Farm & Land Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute provides its membership with a set of land-based contracts and listing agreements that are updated annually and reviewed by an attorney. The Chapter has several members who serve on national committees and has proudly had three members serve as national presidents. In 2015, a task force created an online comparable sales feature which is a handy tool for Land Brokers and appraisers to get information on farm sales as soon as they happen.
