March 1, 2016

Luke Worrell has recently returned from the 88th Annual Meeting and Conference of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers which was held in Springfield.

Worrell was among 150 Society members who attended the two-day event. Presentations at the program included those given by State Senator Sam McCann, IL 50th District; Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh, Kansas State University; Raymond Poe, Illinois Director of Agriculture; and Brian Weaver, Illinois Real Estate Appraisal Coordinator.

The program also featured an extended panel discussion on nutrient management challenges and opportunities and a mini-marketing seminar led by David Hightower, the Hightower Report.

The ISPFMRA has over 300 regular and ‘friends’ members in Illinois offering professional expertise in farmland management, rural appraisal services and agricultural consulting. The group is most widely known as the sponsor of the annual Illinois Land Values Conference and produces the Illinois Land Values and Lease Trends Report. The 2016 Report will be released for sale and distribution at this year’s Land Values Conference which will be held March 17 in Bloomington.
