Special Gift for Farmers & Landowners in Celebration of National Ag Day

March 8, 2016

In celebration of The Agriculture Council of America’s National Agriculture Day which will be recognized in various ways across the nation on March 15, 2016, Worrell Land Services is offering a special gift for area farmers and landowners. From March 14 through 18, farmers and landowners who stop by Worrell Land Services’ offices located at 2240 West Morton Avenue in Jacksonville will receive a small token of the company’s appreciation for their commitment to ensuring the sustainability of agriculture.

National Agriculture Day is a nationwide effort to increase the public’s awareness of agriculture’s role in modern society, to tell the true story of American agriculture and to remind citizens that agriculture is a part of all of us. “The society in which we live has caused many Americans to forget that without agriculture, we could not survive a single day. Nearly everything we eat, wear and use is dependent upon American agriculture,” said Allan Worrell, Worrell Land Services owner. “In our line of work at Worrell Land Services, we have the privilege of joining hand-in-hand with local landowners and farmers whose commitment to agriculture is evident. We want to extend the National Ag Day celebration throughout the week to say ‘thanks’ for all they do.”
